Putin discusses current situation in regions with Russian Security Council
The head of state gave floor to Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Federal Security Service chief Alexander Bortnikov
MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday met with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council and suggested the situation in Russian regions be discussed.
"We are addressing the most pressing issues in a daily regime. But we should not forget about the current situation in Russian regions. Let us speak about it today," he said, opening the meeting.
Putin gave floor to Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Federal Security Service chief Alexander Bortnikov.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaker of the Russian State Duma (lower parliament house) Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, head of the presidential executive office Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin, and presidential envoy for environment protection, ecology and transport Sergey Ivanov.
