Dmitry Peskov declined to comment for now whether the Russian President has any bilateral meetings scheduled on the sidelines of the summit
MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend in person the Caspian Summit in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on June 29, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Thursday.
"He plans to," Peskov said when asked whether Putin planned to attend the summit. The Kremlin spokesman answered in the affirmative when asked if the president would attend in person.
He declined to comment for now whether Putin has any bilateral meetings scheduled on the sidelines of the summit. "We will let you know," Peskov said.
Earlier in June, new President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited Moscow. During the talks, he invited Putin to visit Turkmenistan. The Russian leader accepted the invitation.
