UN ambassador condemns allegations of sexual violence by Russian troops in Ukraine
According to Vasily Nebenzya, fakes and lie is all that the Western colleagues have
UNITED NATIONS, June 15./TASS/. There is no evidence whatsoever of sexual crimes allegedly committed by Russian troops Ukraine, UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya told a meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday.
"You, the Western colleagues, won’t manage to exploit the topic of the alleged cases of sexual violence in Ukraine involving Russian servicemen. Fakes and lie is all that you have," the Russian UN ambassador stressed.
"Not a single fact, not a single piece of evidence. You surely won’t be able to outstrip in your lies the former Ukrainian human rights ombudsperson, [Lyudmila] Denisova," he went on to say. "Everyone was surprised by her inexplicable focus on numerous details of sexual crimes and the rape of children in the ‘occupied territories’ which could not be confirmed by evidence," Nebenzya stressed.
