Russian aircraft wipe out four US M777 howitzers, jamming station in Ukraine operation

MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft delivered air strikes in their special operation in Ukraine to wipe out an electronic warfare station and four US-made M777 howitzers, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Wednesday.
"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles struck 24 areas of amassed Ukrainian manpower and military equipment. The air strikes eliminated over 300 nationalists, a jamming station near the community of Malinovka in the Kharkov Region, 10 tanks and other combat armored vehicles," the spokesman said.
The air strikes wiped out 11 Ukrainian field artillery guns, including four 155mm M777 howitzers, three Grad multiple rocket launchers, 18 special vehicles and three mortar squads, the general added.
Western countries, including Canada and the United States, earlier supplied 155mm M777 howitzers and ammunition to Ukraine. It was also reported that the Ukrainian military was using French 155mm Caesar self-propelled artillery guns.
