Ukraine’s military bombards Donetsk from NATO-caliber artillery guns

DONETSK, June 14. /TASS/. Ukraine’s military bombarded Donetsk using 155mm artillery guns operational in NATO countries, the DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) mission to the Joint Ceasefire Control and Coordination Center reported on Tuesday.
The Ukrainian military fired three 155mm artillery rounds against Donetsk from the community of Avdeyevka at 10:05, the mission said.
The Ukrainian troops shelled Donetsk earlier on the morning of June 14, firing eight 122mm shells. The city came under intensive bombardments on the evening of June 13 when the Ukrainian military fired multiple launch rocket systems, artillery guns and also 155mm launchers in service with NATO countries.
Western countries, including Canada and the United States, earlier supplied 155mm M777 howitzers and ammunition to Ukraine. It was also reported that the Ukrainian military was using French 155mm Caesar self-propelled artillery guns.
