Ukrainian servicemen guilty of war crimes will be brought to responsibility — diplomat

MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. Russia registers all war crimes, committed by the Ukrainian military, all perpetrators will be brought to responsibility, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a briefing Wednesday.
She noted that Ukrainian forces continue shelling Donbass settlements, deploy firing positions in residential buildings, and use civilians as living shields.
"All these war crimes are being registered by investigative bodies of Russia and Donbass republics. They will be scrupulously investigated, and the perpetrators will be punished," she said.
The diplomat underscored that that human shields tactic has become a calling card of Ukrainian forces.
Previously, a law enforcement source told TASS that over 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen, surrendered in Mariupol, were transported to the Russian Federation for investigation.
