The first neighborhoods of the well-fortified city have already been cleared, Ramzan Kadyrov said
GROZNY, May 28. /TASS/. Chechnya’s Head Ramzan Kadyrov on Friday said a group of fighters from Chechnya has seized full control of the line of contact with Ukrainian nationalists in Severodonetsk of the Lugansk People's Republic, blocking exits from the city.
"A group of Russian volunteers from the Chechen Republic <…> has seized complete control of the entire line of contact with bandits in the city of Severodonetsk of the LPR," he said on Telegram. "The first neighborhoods of the well-fortified city have already been cleared of enemy units."
"The building of the hotel, which had been prepared for a long defense by Banderites, passed under the control of our fighters," Kadyrov went on to say. "Together with LPR units, the Banderite rabble has been completely blocked in the city, since all the retreats from it went under the control of Russian troops.".
