Russia’s deputy permanent representative to the OSCE mentioned the complete failure of the OSCE's work in Ukraine

VIENNA, May 26. /TASS/. Russia "sees no chances for the mission of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine to continue its work after the expiration of its mandate at the end of June this year" and calls on the current Polish chairmanship of the OSCE to devise a plan for curtailing this field presence, Russia’s deputy permanent representative to the OSCE, Maxim Buyakevich, said at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna on Thursday in response to the Coordinator’s report.

"We call on the Polish Chairmanship-in-Office and the OSCE Secretariat to develop and submit to the participating states a plan for curtailing this field presence in the form of a draft decision by the Permanent Council, which should take into account all administrative, material and personnel issues," Buyakevich said in a statement.

"We note the complete failure of the OSCE's work in Ukraine, which had been expected to prevent that country from sliding into lawlessness, unbridled militarization and aggressive nationalism," the statement reads.
