MOSCOW, May 9. /TASS/. There are no plans to unite the Kherson region with Crimea, head of the Kherson region’s military-civilian administration Vladimir Saldo said in an interview with TASS.
"All this is just behind-the-scenes speculations. There are no official discussions about it and there are no such plans," he noted.
According to Saldo, a federal district may be created that will consist of Crimea, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. "However, the region will still be there. There are no plans to change the administrative and territorial structure," Saldo added.
