Russia has proof to refute accusations regarding Ukrainian nuclear facilities — MFA
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova recalled that Russia took control of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant solely to ensure its safety for the time of conducting the special military operation in the area
MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. Moscow has proof that will refute accusations by Kiev that the presence of Russian troops at Ukrinian nuclear facilities harmed their safety, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Thursday.
"We have all the necessary evidence, including photo and video materials, from which it clearly follows that the accusations against us by the Kiev regime are not based on anything," the statement said.
Zakharova said Russia had repeatedly refuted Kiev’s accusations of alleged looting at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant during the period when the Russian troops were stationed there, of allowing an increase in the radiation level, and so on.
The spokeswoman said Russia took control of the plant solely to ensure its safety for the time of conducting the special military operation in the area.
