Similar measures have been introduced on incumbent Canadian senators on the basis of reciprocity, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement
MOSCOW, April 13. /TASS/. Moscow has blacklisted 87 Canadian senators as a retaliatory measure, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Following the decision that the Canadian authorities made on March 24, blacklisting all members of the Russian Federal Assembly and imposing sanctions on them, including a ban to enter the country, similar measures have been introduced on incumbent Canadian senators on the basis of reciprocity," the statement reads.
