Putin, Lukashenko to visit Vostochny spaceport on April 12
The previous meeting between Russian and Belarusian presidents took place on March 11
MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Russian and Belarusian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, will visit the Vostochny spaceport in the Amur Region on April 12, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed to TASS.
"Yes, that is right," he said.
It was reported in Moscow. Kremlin. Putin program on Rossiya-1 TV channel earlier on Sunday that Russian and Belarusian leaders would meet on April 12 in the Amur Region where they will see Vostochny and, in particular, give a press conference.
The previous meeting between Putin and Lukashenko took place on March 11. They discussed particularly the Ukrainian issue and western sanctions then. In a telephone conversation on April 1 the leaders also focused on a number of relevant issues of the bilateral agenda and the promotion of the Union’s integration, as well as the development of the special military operation to protect Donbass and the Russian-Ukrainian talks.
Russian President last visited the Vostochny spaceport in September 2021.
