Leonid Slutsky expressed confidence that Russia’s "retaliatory measures will be proportionate"
MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky on Thursday said the US is imposing new sanctions on Russia out of "powerlessness and hysteria," pushing bilateral relations to the brink of breaking off.
"The US is imposing sanctions against the entire State Duma, rather, out of powerlessness and hysteria," he told reporters. According to the lawmaker, "more and more anti-Russian sanctions are pushing Russian-US relations to the verge of a complete severance."
Slutsky expressed confidence that Russia’s "retaliatory measures will be proportionate."
