MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. EU countries have been dominated by Washington and are willing to knuckle under to any of its regulations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.

"The goal (of the US policy - TASS) has been declared - this is the very world order based on the rules that they write, and Europe is already willing to accept them in any form, only [French President] Emmanuel Macron continues to invoke the necessity of EU strategic autonomy, no one will allow this to be done, and all other EU members have already lied down in front of the Americans, as they say," the minister said in an interview with RBC TV.

Lavrov noted that Washington peddles the idea of a unipolar world, yet it does not notice that many powerful countries will not pursue its policy. "In any case, some kind of counterweight will be built, <...> but the same bipolar world will still be created," he concluded.
