MOSCOW, March 10. /TASS/. Belarusian power engineers have provided electricity to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (NPP), which is currently under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. The electrical transmission line to Mazyr has been energized, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Energy Evgeniy Grabchak told journalists.

"Belarusian power engineers have provided electricity to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The work of operational personnel of the Chernobyl Nuclear power plant made it possible to supply voltage to the electrical installations of the power plant," Grabchak said.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainians carried out a false flag attack, striking power grid facilities that provide power to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, but Russian specialists undertook swift measures to switch to backup diesel generators. Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin said that "the issue of restoring the power supply according to the permanent scheme from the Belarusian energy system was worked out with the Belarusian side in a prompt manner.".
