One should not fall victim to ordinary rumors and fraud, Dmitry Peskov pointed out

MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has dismissed as fake news the reports on a potential introduction of martial law in some Russian regions as well as a ban on men of conscription age from leaving the country.

"This is fake news, all this is circulating in social networks and then citizens resend this to each other. One should treat all this information very carefully and should not fall victim to ordinary rumors and fraud," Peskov told journalists.

Peskov did not comment on Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's statement that the West is hatching plans for a nuclear war. "I have not heard Lavrov's statement. Was he referring directly to the war or the "war" that is going on - trade, information, economic? I haven't seen it [the statement], so I can't answer," the Kremlin spokesman said.
