Brussels officials now say openly that they intend to deliver ‘maximum damage’ to Russia, MFA noted
MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday said the European Union, with it actions related to the situation in Ukraine, debunked the myth that its unlawful restrictions don’t target the Russian people.
"One myth has been debunked after being promoted by the EU in the past: that their restrictions, which are illegitimate under international law and are unilateral, aren’t directed against the Russian people," the ministry said in a statement. "Brussels officials that until recently have pretended to be a ‘strategic partner’ for our country now say openly that they intend to deliver ‘maximum damage’ to Russia, ‘hit its sore spots,’ ‘seriously destroy its economy’ and ‘suppress the economic growth’ of the country.".
