US, Russian experts suggest starting cybersecurity dialog before summit
The forthcoming summit of the two countries will highlight prospects of bilateral relations, the co-chair of the Russian side in the Dartmouth Dialog Yuri Shafranik said
MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. The US-Russian expert group Dartmouth Dialog urges the countries to start the discussion on cybersecurity issues shortly before the US-Russia summit, Board Chairman of Soyuzneftegaz and the co-chair of the Russian side in the Dartmouth Dialog Yuri Shafranik told TASS.
"We consider important exactly now, on the threshold of the summit meeting, that leaders of our countries could consider an opportunity of launching a dialog between authorities and initiating consultations in the information and communication sphere or in the cyberspace sphere," the expert said.
The forthcoming summit of the two countries will highlight prospects of bilateral relations, Shafranik said. "I tend to believe the forthcoming fact of the meeting between Presidents of Russia and the US is highly important, irrespective of their forecast results," he added.
