Putin, Lukashenko conclude meeting in Sochi lasting over 6 hours

SOCHI, February 22. /TASS/. A meeting of Russian and Belarusian presidents Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko in Sochi on Monday has been concluded after over six hours of interaction. The Russia-24 TV channel aired the ending of the meeting of the two leaders.

The talks of the two presidents started in Sochi around 15:00 Moscow time on Monday. Putin and Lukashenko then went skiing and continued the meeting in the format of a working dinner. The interaction of the two leaders continued into the evening.

Earlier, the Kremlin press service named among the main subjects of the meeting key issues of the development of Russian-Belarusian relations of the strategic partnership and alliance, major joint projects, as well as a further promotion of integration processes within the framework of the Union State. During the open part of the meeting the two leaders also discussed supplies of a Russian vaccine against the coronavirus to Belarus, industrial cooperation, as well as stated that instruments of interaction between Moscow and Minsk are functioning successfully.
