All the countries are in the same boat called the globe, the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman stressed

MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. Most countries have been cooperative in relations with Russia as regards the vaccination of the personnel of Russian foreign missions abroad, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on the 60 Minutes TV program on Rossiya-1 news channel on Friday.

"We maintain cooperation with foreign ministries via our embassies. In most cases, they are cooperative, as they understand pretty well that generally speaking we are in the same boat. The boat is called the globe," Zakharova said.

She stressed the seriousness of vaccination against the coronavirus and added that she was in no mood of making jokes on the issue.

"We help [other countries]. We do so on the basis of the obligations that we have. We proceed from the understanding that other countries in principle should conduct work in the same way as being guided by common international legal agreements," Zakharova said.

According to the latest statistics, over 110.3 million people have been infected worldwide and more than 2.4 million deaths have been reported.

To date, 4,139,031 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Russia, with 3,679,949 patients having recovered from the disease. Russia’s latest data indicates 82,396 fatalities nationwide. Earlier, the Russian government set up an Internet hotline to keep the public updated on the coronavirus situation.
