Kremlin: Protesters violating law at rallies scheduled for February 14 to be held liable

The spokesman has commented plans for new protests on February 14 with courtyards of apartment blocks being the venue

MOSCOW, February 14./TASS/. Persons found guilty of breaking the law at the upcoming rallies, not coordinated with authorities, will be held liable, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday in comments on plans for new protests on February 14 with courtyards of apartment blocks being the venue.

The spokesman declined to say whether this would be regarded as a call for unauthorized protests.

"We won’t play cat-and-mouse with anyone, but certainly our law enforcement officers will hold to account those responsible in case the law is violated," Peskov stressed.
