Russia, EU intend to focus on dialogue in healthcare, science, Russian top diplomat says

MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Moscow and Brussels consider healthcare, education and science as some of the key directions for expanded cooperation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference after a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on Friday.

"We have an understanding that we will seek other spheres to apply our joint efforts. Within the framework of building renewed relations we mentioned today both healthcare and climate change, science, education as those spheres where experts and ministers on both sides can prepare rather significant agreements. We will try not to postpone this work if our European colleagues are ready for this. This readiness was voiced during talks," he said.
