MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. The development of artificial intelligence should rely on a balance between the necessity to disclose information and to protect citizens’ personal data, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the AI Journey conference on Saturday.
"We are well aware that it is a very thin line. We should strike a balance between the maximum disclosure of information and the human right to protection of that information, where they believe this protection must be ensured," Putin said.
The president recalled that cloud platforms and software should be created to collect and store big data and that they should be made more accessible for Russian business.
