Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will officially visit Russia on May 25-26

MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will officially visit the Russian Federation at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation on May 25-26, the Kremlin press service reported.

"On May 25, the Japanese prime minister will attend events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum [SPIEF 2018] as an honorable guest. On May 26, high-level Russian-Japanese negotiations will be held in Moscow. A number of joint documents were prepared for signing," the report says.

Vladimir Putin and Shinzo Abe will also attend the opening ceremony for the cross-culture years - the Year of Russia in Japan and the Year of Japan in Russia.
