Lavrov holding meeting with Iranian foreign minister in Rome

ROME, November 23. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is holding a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Dialogues international conference in Rome, a TASS correspondent reported from the site.

Before the meeting, the two top diplomats greeted each other in a friendly manner.

Lavrov is on a two-day working visit to Rome. Earlier in the day, he met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi, Iraqi President Barham Salih and Italian and Japanese Foreign Ministers, Enzo Moavero Milanesi and Taro Kono.
