MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. The world premiere of a Russian action movie told through a "first-person perspective" will reach September audiences of Toronto's 40th International Film Festival, executives told TASS.

"Hardcore" - a world first in footage portraying an individual's personal impressions of events - will be screened in the Canadian city's "Midnight Madness" festival program of action, horror and fantasy movies. Audience voting will decide the competition winner.

"It is a great pleasure for me that festival judges accepted our non-standard movie and put it in one line with famous and respected producers," said the movie’s director, Ilya Naishuller, working on the project with producer Timur Bekmambetov.
