NEW YORK, January 16. /TASS/. Living in the Internet age, Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko still tends to cling to values of the good old days and plans to take photos of his loved ones to a year-long ISS flight, the longest ever.

Speaking at a news conference at Space Center Houston in Texas on Thursday, he said he would take along photos of his diseased parents that had been with him on the first flight, as well as the photo of his family from the office.

Another member of the future mission, NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, said he had no plans to take photos as Internet and e-mail opportunities on board the International Space Station were quite enough.

Kornienkio said new experiments as to human possibilities in space during the ISS mission would help in preparations for future flights to the Moon and Mars.

A Soyuz craft with Kornienko, Kelly as well as another Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka is scheduled to blast off from the Baikonur launch pad in Kazakhstan on March 27. The previous missions on board the ISS have continued for half-a-year.
