MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Russian space agency Roscosmos is not planning to cut its budget or abandon any projects amid the unstable economic situation in the country, Roscosmos chief Oleg Ostapenko said on Monday.

“No budget cuts in Roscosmos are planned, and we are not going to abandon or cut any projects,” Ostapenko said.

A source in Russia's space sector earlier told TASS that financing of the state space program for 2016-2025 is going to be cut to $42 billion.
