MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. British movie star Ralph Fiennes has been nominated for the Russian Golden Eagle film award, the head of the award's expert council said on Wednesday.

Fiennes was longlisted for the Best Actor for his role in Vera Glagoleva's movie Two Women, a screen version of Ivan Turgenev's 19th century novella, A Month in the Country, Kirill Razlogov said.

Winner of the Golden Eagle award founded in 2002 will be announced in late January at the Moscow-based Mosfilm studio.
