Beyonce named highest-paid woman in music in 2014 — Forbes

The singer earned $115 million in the period from June 2013 to July 2014

NEW YORK, November 5. /TASS/. The American magazine Forbes published Monday its annual rankings of the highest-paid women in music. Beyonce topped the list with $115 million earned over a year.

The profit from performances amounting to 90 over the period reviewed, and the money from the sales of her new album called “Beyonce” account for a significant part of her earnings. Apart from that the singer’s endorsement deals with Pepsi and H&M also contributed to the nine-figure digit income. According to Forbes, Beyonce managed to almost double her 2013 rankings earnings of $53 million.

Who else is on the list

Taylor Swift country and pop singer came in second with $64 million — the highest ever result in her career, main sources of income being performances, release of a new album “1989” as well as various endorsement deals.

Pink was awarded the third place with $52 million. She gave 85 concerts over the reviewed period, grossing over $1 million per city. “Though she may not have quite the same name recognition as some of the other stars on this list, Pink is quietly adding massive amounts of cash to her coffers,” Forbes said.
