On July 21, 1969, US astronaut Neil Armstrong set his left boot on the surface of the Moon. Making his first step, he said the famous words: "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Twenty minutes after the first step, another NASA astronaut Buzz Aldrin joined Armstrong, becoming the second man to step on the Moon.
