The Formula 1 racer remains in artificial coma for more than a month
PARIS, March 12. /ITAR-TASS/. The condition of 7-fold world champion in Formula 1 racing Michael Schumacher shows first encouraging signs, the racer’s manager Sabine Kehm said on Wednesday.
Schumacher received a serious head injury December 29 while skiing in French Alps. He underwent two operations in Grenoble’s hospital and remains in artificial coma for more than a month.
“There are some encouraging indications,” Kehm noted. “However, we should not speed thing up, we need to arm ourselves with patience.”
According to physicians’ forecasts, if Schumacher survives, he would have to cope with brain injury consequences for life.
