KAZAN, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian National Squad has set an absolute medal record at the 27th World Student Games.

Lyubov Yaskevich won the 76th gold medal in pneumatic pistol shooting, thus enabling the Russians to break China’s record set at the 2011 World Student Games in Shenzhen where the Chinese team won 75 gold medals.

All in all, the Russian national squad has 76 gold, 38 silver and 33 bronze medals.

The 27th World Student Games will end on July 17.
