Malaysian prime minister asks Kyrgyzstan to help in searching for the Boeing-777 plane
the Civil Aviation Agency will provide all necessary information to Malaysia
BISHKEK, March 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak asked Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev by telephone on Monday for assistance in searching for the missing Malaysian Airlines Boeing-777 plane, the Kyrgyz presidential press service reports. The Malaysian premier asked Kyrgyzstan to provide any information which could help in reconstructing the plane’s possible route, which could pass through Kyrgyzstan’s airspace.
Atambayev promised that the Civil Aviation Agency set up under the Kyrgyz Ministry of Transport and Communications as well as the republic’s air defence forces would provide all the necessary information to Malaysia.
On behalf of the Kyrgyz people, Atambayev presented condolences to the relatives and families of the Boeing-777 crew and passengers. He expressed hope that the airliner would soon be found.
The Boeing 777-200 airliner with 227 passengers and 12 crewmen onboard was on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it disappeared from radars on the night from March 7 to 8. The plane’s whereabouts are still unknown.
An air crash or a hi-jack are considered to be the most probable versions behind the plane’s disappearance.
