Turkey stands for peace in Ukraine without further casualties — Erdogan

ANKARA, February 24. /TASS/. Turkey calls for establishing peace in Ukraine to avoid further casualties and damage, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday during telephone talks with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

"President Erdogan thanked Russian President Putin for the solidarity after the earthquake. President Erdogan said that just peace must be established without further casualties and damage in the Russian-Ukrainian war. President Erdogan express sincere wish that the Istanbul agreement be restored and said that they are ready to make any contribution to this matter," the Turkish presidential office said.
