DAMASCUS, October 21 (Itar-Tass) - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad does not see any obstacles for him to run in the country’s presidential election due in 2014. “Frankly speaking, I do not see any obstacles that would hamper me to run in the elections,” al-Assad said an interview which the TV channel Al-Mayadin announced for broadcasting on Monday.
