Russian diplomatic workers were not injured

CAIRO, October 2. (Itar-Tass) – Unidentified armed men stormed the Russian in Tripoli, Libya’s capital, Al Arabia reported.

Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Department told Itar-Tass that, indeed, Russia’s embassy in Libya was fired upon on Wednesday.

“Tonight in Tripoli the Russian embassy was fired upon; an attempt to storm the territory was made. According to preliminary data, Russian diplomatic workers were not injured,” the spokesperson said.
