LONDON, September 15 (Itar-Tass) - Brigadier General Salim Idris, the Chief of Staff of the Supreme Military Council (SMC) of the Free Syrian Army, has turned down a Russian-U.S. agreement reached on Saturday to establish international control over chemical weapons in Syria, according to the Sky News television channel which showed Idris’s news conference in Istanbul.

Idris said that the Russian-U.S. initiative would not solve the Syrian crisis. He also claimed that the Syrian military had been allegedly redeploying chemical weapons to Lebanon and Iraq in recent days.
