Spokesperson of the country's president cites upholding national security as reason

CAIRO, September 12 (Itar-Tass) – Interim President of Egypt Adly Mansour has made a decision to extend emergency law, which came into force mid-August, for two more months. According to his official representative Ihab Badawi, national security and ongoing events are the reasons for this decision.

Month-long state of emergency has been declared across Egypt by interim president Adly Mansour August 14.
