MELITOPOL, November 3. /TASS/. The safety of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) is inseparable from the safety of its employees, and Ukraine’s attacks against them cannot be ignored, the facility’s Communications Director Yevgenia Yashina told TASS, commenting on the death of another employee in a Ukrainian drone attack.

The ZNPP reported earlier that two civilians, including a woman who worked at the plant, were killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on their car.

"She [the killed employee] worked in a support role at the Zaporozhye NPP. A nuclear power plant is, first and foremost, about the people who work there. The safety of the Zaporozhye NPP cannot be separated from the safety of its staff. We cannot talk about protecting the station whilst ignoring the murders of those who keep it running," Yashina said.
