PARIS, October 18. /TASS/. The number of those detained during riots across France has exceeded 2,000, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said.

"As of now, more than 2,000 have been detained. Investigation is underway to identify those responsible to bring them to court," he wrote on X.

According to the minister, as many as 600 police officers have been hurt.
