SOCHI, October 11. /TASS/. Fragments of drones fell on the grounds of the airport, residential areas and hotels in Sochi in the Krasnodar Region in southern Russia, the regional emergencies headquarters reported, adding that no one was injured.

"Debris from a drone fell on the grounds of Sochi Airport. A fire broke out in one of the administrative buildings but was quickly extinguished. No one was injured," the statement posted on the headquarters’ Max channel said.

"Drone debris [also] fell on private residences and hotels. The roof of one private home was damaged, and a fire broke out in another. The fire was quickly extinguished," the headquarters noted.

According to its statement, emergency and special response teams are working at the scenes.
