NEW DELHI, August 29. /TASS/. Rescuers in Nepal have rescued more than 240 tourists from the disaster zone, while another 320 are still out of contact, the Tourism Council reported.

As of 6:00 p.m. (12:15 p.m. GMT) on August 29, 2026, 261 foreign tourists have been rescued, while 320 are still out of contact, the council's post on the X social media page noted.
