Ukrainian attacks in Russia’s Kursk region kill one, injure six — governor

KURSK, August 22. /TASS/. One was killed and six others were injured as a result of Ukrainian attacks on the Kursk Region over the past 24 hours, the governor of the bordering Russian region, Alexander Khinshtein, said in a post on Max channel on Saturday.
"In the village of Peschanoye in the Belaya District, a 69-year-old man was killed. <…> Six people were injured, including four in the Kursk municipality, one in the Belaya District, and one woman in the Sudzha District. All of them have been provided with medical care," the official wrote.
Earlier, Khinshtein said that 148 Ukrainian drones were downed over his region over the past day. Also, the Ukrainian army used artillery 117 times in attacks on evacuated areas.
