MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 396 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night, the Defense Ministry reported.

One man was killed, two more were injured in a drone attack on the Voronezh Region. Fires erupted at two warehouses of a major company.

TASS has compiled the main information about the consequences.

Attack scale

- On-duty air defense systems downed a total of 396 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over Russian regions between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time (5:00 p.m. GMT) on August 10 and 8:00 a.m. Moscow time (5:00 a.m. GMT) on August 11, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

- According to the ministry, drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orenburg, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Tambov, Tula and Moscow Regions, as well as the Republic of Crimea.

- As many as 237 UAVs were flying toward the Moscow Region between 8:30 p.m. Moscow time (5:30 p.m. GMT) on August 10 and 8:30 a.m. Moscow time (5:30 a.m. GMT) on August 11, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.

- He added that air defense forces destroyed most of the drones well away from the region, with 13 UAVs intercepted while approaching Moscow.

- Air defenses shot down more than 60 drones overnight over the Tarasovsky, Kamensky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Chertkovsky, Neklinovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, Aksaysky, Millerovsky, Milyutinsky, and Sholokhovsky Districts of the Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.

- Air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 15 UAVs over Voronezh and five districts of the region, Governor Alexander Gusev wrote on his Max channel.

- Air defense systems downed 14 Ukrainian drones over the Kaluga Region overnight, Governor Vladislav Shapsha said on his Max channel.

Aftermath

- A man was killed in a drone attack on the Voronezh Region, Governor Alexander Gusev reported on his Max channel.

- He said that a 49-year-old man, who was outside during the attack, suffered serious injuries as a result of falling UAV debris in the Novousmansky District and later died in hospital.

- Another two people were wounded, with one of them outside during the attack and the other one at a major logistics center.

- All of those injured are receiving treatment in hospital.

- Moreover, the drone attack sparked fires at two warehouses of a major company in the Voronezh Region.

- Emergency services are operating on site.

- According to the governor, falling UAV debris damaged three trucks and one passenger car.

- Firefighters have extinguished a fire that spread across an area of 16,000 square meters and broke out at a warehouse near Voronezh following a drone strike.

- Rescuers are still battling a fire at the other facility.

- As of now, firefighters have contained the blaze over an area of 75,000 square meters.

- There has been almost no damage to goods at logistics facilities operated by the Wildberries e-commerce company in the Voronezh Region, the joint Wildberries and Russ (RWB) company said in a statement.

- The company had evacuated workers at the facilities in advance.

- The RWB noted that it has suspended the acceptance of new supplies and rerouted them to other facilities.

- Falling UAV debris caused a fire at an industrial facility in the Orenburg Region, Governor Evgeny Solntsev said on his Max channel.

- According to the preliminary data, no one was injured.

- Emergency services are operating on site.

- The governor added that facilities of the Orenburg Region remain under attack.

- He urged residents not to take photographs or record videos, so that the enemy would not receive assistance in committing their crimes.

- A downed UAV in the Tarasovsky District of the Rostov Region sparked a fire in a forest area, the regional governor reported.

- In the Kamensky District, fires erupted in two small areas of the forest.

- In the Milyutinsky District, dry grass caught fire near the settlements of Agrarny and Antonovka.

- Firefighters have quickly put out all the blazes.
