MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. The number of people killed as a result of the drone attack on facilities in Nizhnekamsk has increased to 13, the press service of the head of Tatarstan told journalists.

Russian Investigative Committee Spokeswoman, Svetlana Petrenko, told TASS that a child was among those killed.

About the attack

- Industrial and civilian facilities in Nizhnekamsk came under a large-scale drone strike, causing fatalities.

- Later, it was reported that 12 people had been killed and 39 were injured.

- Hospitals in Nizhnekamsk admitted 28 injured people, including one child, the Russian Health Ministry's press service clarified to TASS.

- Later, the press service of the head of Tatarstan told journalists that the number of people killed as a result of the drone attack on facilities in Nizhnekamsk had increased to 13.

- The minister noted that multidisciplinary teams have been deployed to Nizhnekamsk, and the ambulance service has been reinforced with five teams from Naberezhnye Chelny and a team from the Republican Center for Disaster Medicine.

- Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko has taken personal control over the delivery of assistance to those injured in the drone attack on Nizhnekamsk, his assistant Alexey Kuznetsov told TASS.

 

Criminal case

 

- A criminal case has been opened on the fact of a terrorist attack committed by armed formations of Ukraine against industrial and civilian facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan (Article 205 of Russia's Criminal Code).
