ISTANBUL, August 7. /TASS/. A Turkish dry cargo vessel came under a drone attack near Novorossiysk, no one was hurt, the Haberdenizde news portal reported.

According to it, the MV Gulluk vessel was heading to Taman when a drone hit its living premises. Following the attack, the vessel has set course for Istanbul where it will be thoroughly examined.

The MV Gulluk dry cargo ship was built in 2002 and is engaged in international shipments.

The Turkish foreign ministry earlier expressed serious concern over the escalation of the conflict in the Black Sea following Ukraine’s attacks on the Nadezhda and Yasar vessels near Novorossiysk on August 3. It warned about serious consequences, including in terms of food security, if no measures are taken to contain it.
