Wildberries logistics facility catches fire in Yekaterinburg following attack

MOSCOW, August 7. /TASS/. A fire broke out at a Wildberries logistics facility in Yekaterinburg following a drone attack, the press service of the merged Wildberries and Russ company (RWB) said.

"Fire crews are working at the company’s logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Region, where the attack caused a fire," the statement said. RWB added that the site had been evacuated in advance.

The facility has temporarily restricted incoming deliveries and redirected them to other locations, the company noted.

Eight hundred people were evacuated from the Wildberries facility after Ukrainian drones attacked it, Russian Presidential Envoy to the Urals Federal District Artyom Zhoga said. No one was injured.

"Enemy drones attacked a warehouse in Yekaterinburg. Eight hundred people were evacuated from the logistics facility, and no one was injured," he wrote on Max.
