Mayor Sergey Sobyanin says most of them were shot down at distant approaches

MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. Air defenses repelled attacks by 340 drones targeted at the Moscow Region in the past 24 hours, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.

"A total of 340 unmanned aerial vehicles were detected flying toward the Moscow Region in the past day. Air defenses shot down most of them at distant approaches. Over 50 enemy drones were destroyed near Moscow," he wrote on the Max social media platform.
