TOKMAK /Zaporozhye Region/, July 3. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone strike on the city market became the deadliest attack on civilians in Tokmak, Zaporozhye Region, since the beginning of the conflict, the Tokmak municipal administration told TASS.

Five people were killed and another 18 civilians were injured in the attack.

"This is the first time they have struck civilians on such a scale, in a crowded place during peak hours. There had been previous drone strikes, but they hit different streets, and one, two or three people were affected. But this was a deliberate attack, carried out with the full understanding that it would result in the deaths of civilians. It was an act of particular cruelty," a representative of the municipal administration said.
